Hi Carlos, thanks for the info.Yes i'm in the process of doing a build.I wish it was a DFV i was building but actually it's a BDA.
I'm using the cosworth DFV pistons part number DA1964 to build a BDE spec engine.
Only problem is they protrude out from the block face by about 2mm.
Accralite list these pistons with 37.3mm compression height which would put them flush with the block face, but the cosworth ones seem to be 39.3m compression height.
I assumed they would be the same as the accralite equivalent so didn't ask when i ordered them

Now i have pistons 2mm too tall, i don't fancy machining the tops as i'd like to keep the strength in the crown...
Anyway i thought i'd ask here as i'm trying to ascertain which DFV pistons i actually have and why the accralite equivalent are 2mm lower in comp. height

I'll get in touch with cosworth but that will be after the holidays now
