The use of resonators in silencers to attenuate dominant exhaust frequencies is well known in passenger cars.

The use of resonators to *increase* the "fruitier" tones in an exhaust note in high end sports cars (some of which are turbocharged) is well documented.

Could positive resonance help spice up the turbo engines?

& not only for exhaust, but for 'amping up ' the engine air inlet sounds too...
