Did anyone read Newey's book?

Also is there on amazon some sort of "newish" book regarding vehicle dynamics, designing etc for tech freaks?

May i recommend 50 years of formula 1 photography by Schlegelmilch? Not all new photo's but some of them have never been printed so large. A pure joy for all (older) f1 fans

I've decided it's time to shrink my library. I have a motorsport/technical/racing library of over 100 books I'd like to have go. They are mostly dealing with F1, but many engine/chassis/history etc. books. I just generated a spreadsheet of titles and authors; if anyone is interested let me know and I'll get the list to you. Really want to do only one deal for everything rather than part them out.

I have and it's a very good read. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you don't get the Newey book!

I also got Mark Webber's autobiography which was great.

Newey's book is one of my latest acquisitions and I found it quite interesting compared to Ross Brawns self serving tome.

How could I leave out the book I am currently reading?
"Bernie Ecclestone King of Sport".
I have found it interesting on the whole, and if your interested in the machinations of the FOCA vs FICA war or maybe I should say the Balestre vs Ecclestone war you might find that part enlightening.

I still like "With Flying Colours" the Pirelli album of Motor Sport by L.J.K. Setright, Derek Forsyth, and Robert Newman.
F1 Through the Eyes of Damon Hill
Not a big fan of Christopher Hiltons "Ayrton Senna The Hard Edge of Genius" the man is just too enamored of Senna.
Some interesting stories in "The International Grand Prix book of Motor Racing"
Since I like history while dry is A History Of Grand Prix Motor Racing 1906-1951" by William Court. Wish I had the second book but it's very expensive for a good copy.
I don't think I ever got all the way through "Fast Guys, Rich Guys and Idiots a Racing Odyssey on the Border of Obsession" by Sam Moses.
An informative short book given to me by a now departed racer with the rare distinction of attending darn near every race ever run at Riverside.. "Gurney's Eagles the Exciting Story of the AAR Racing Cars" by Karl Ludvigsen
Another one passed down to me from the same wonderful man "Chaparral Can Am & Prototype Race Cars" by Dave Friedman
Some interesting stories and great photos in "Formula One Unseen Archives" by Tim Hill with photos by the Daily Mail
Then a few years in review.. "Dale Earnhardt 23 Years With the Intimidator" by the editors of Circle Track and Stock Car Racing, and of course Alan Henry's profile of Ayrton Senna and for reference Trevor Griffiths' Grand Prix The Complete Guide" third edition and Alan Henry's Fifty Famous Motor Races and a book on Indy and Corvette Racers about early Corvette racers as the name implies along with a few other less notable tomes.

I should mention that the Ecclestone book along with Brawn's "Total Competition lessons in strategy" are audio books.
Along with "Jenson Button life to the limit" and Newey's How to Build a Car", "The Mechanic the Secret World of the F1 Pitlane" by Marc 'Elvis' Priestley, "Full Throttle the life and Fast Times of Curtis Turner", "Driving With the Devil southern moonshiners, Detroit wheels and the Birth of NASCAR", "Go Like Hell Ford, Ferrari and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans" and "Jeff Gordon his Dream Drive & Destiny", 'The Limit Life and Death on the 1981 Grand Prix Circuit" by Michael Canell
All great reads or in my case listens.
