All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

Yes, I did read the mag ! It was a great article :)

to scarbs: It would be great if RCE could bring out a book collecting together all the coloumns by same authors, to name: aerobytes coloumns, databytes, the consultant etc and other technical articles.. It would be great for many of us readers who cant afford buying all the past issues. I believe aerobytes started in late 2003s(source: competition car aero , preface). that would mean atleast 4 years(upto 2007 i.e) of work in a book. Wow, sounds great.. wish it was reality. [-o< ( to add, it has to be conveniently priced as well..lol )

Excellent idea! A scientific method of calculating the cost per article could be used to ensure the publishers were not losing any money from 'past issue income'. After having spent way too much money to get only 1 or 2 useful (or current) articles from past issues, I whole-heartedly support to this idea.

It seems RT and RET already have some semblance of this idea but I think the target audience is still a little broad (although that might be economically justifiable).

Kurt

Any one here who is looking to buy a copy or subscribe to Race Engine Technology can get a 10% discount if you quote this code.

The 2007-2008 F1 Race Technology Annual comes out soon (I did quite a bit of writing for this), this and the other one-off magazines will be covered with the discount too.

I know these mags aren’t cheap as they are aimed workers within the industry, but a little discount might help.

Any problems let me know

I enjoyed downloading them via zinio reader but it seems to have gone away with the new site.

Any info?
