I would imagine that Kubica's biggest problem is his insurance claim and if he's still insurable in the future. I remember a case with Scott Russel who wasnt allowed to race anymore because after his big claim, he was uninsurable. But somehow, years later, after a long legal battle, he made it back!

Williams have already debunked this as not an issue.

Mercedes may try to sweeten the engine deal for Williams by asking them to give Pascal the seat.

On the other hand, their ex driver Nico Rosberg is pushing to get his friend Kubica in the seat...

I have a feeling Pascal with get the nod; provided he is not abandoned by Toto Wolf.
For Sure!!

Good, he's not a good enough driver for the level of Diva he brings.

I would really like to see him in another car then the Sauber. He should at least kept his place at Sauber. He is so much better then Ericson.

Where does this come from? I never associate Wehrlein as a diva.

I think it's because there was a rumor about he knew how to make the tyres work, but didn't share that information with Sauber.

Or do you mean Sauber wanted him to give them tyre preparation information from Mercedes? That is one interesting theory.

My goodness. Maybe he was harrassed to the point he finally spilled the beans. Maybe it was no coincidence Sauber faster in second aprt of the season. And also leads to why Toto reduced his backing of Pascal. Poor guy.

I think pascal deserves to cut some slack from his 2017 results due to the race of champions incident which was pretty hefty actually.
it makes me wonder whether he actually healed from that 100% or that it left permanent damage unspoken of.

don't get me wrong, i never got excited about the guy, but that being said, he went from Merc's promising next golden wonder boy that needs to get a F1 seat
to the most ignored and downfalled driver in F1 in recent times, which i think is a bit surprising to be honest.

To add he did look decent at manor dragging the car to points when it didn't deserve them. Ok ocon came in and also did well and has moved on and done well Pascal was infront in most races if it recall. Even if that's just down to knowing the car he must still have something about him

I'm sad to see Wehrlein leave F1 when we're still stuck with Ericsson and Stroll.
