The new car has a rabbit logo on it. Any idea what company this is?
Pic. I don't see it.

I thought it was a hare, but that might be because I'm Dutch, so for me 'Haas' is the word for 'hare'
... And perhaps that's indeed where that comes from. Didn't Haas have Dutch ancestors somewhere in his family?

follow the white rabbit?

Anyway, yes, Haas is dutch for hare, and whether Gene himself has 'recent' dutch ancestry or not, Haas as a family name is 100% of dutch origin, so somewhere at his family tree from his fathers side there's dutch origins.

There were stories that the Maserati logo was going to be on the Haas car. Just like the Alfa Romeo Sauber situation. A pity it didnt happen. Maybe in the near future?

these stories are only fan/media-based and happened because of the Alfa Romeo - Sauber partnership immediately leading to speculation on Haas because they have a lot of Ferrari parts.

Marchionne also hinted that it could be possible for the future.

K-Mag and Grosjean were genuinely quick in Melbourne. A pity that the race ended for them in the way it did.

I truly do feel they lost their chance to really jump up in the rankings today. Those lost 22 points to me mean they will ultimately finish where I expect them to. :|

That was painful to watch. I image they have quite a bit of pit stop practice already. Shame that it happened then.

Seriosuly surprised with Haas. where did that come from?! Didn't HAAS say the chassis is fully theirs (they look way too much like 17 Ferrari though)?

They were genuinly up front and on full own power keeping up and in front of even the RedBulls. Perfect for Ferrari offcourse, but wow!. They could have had a podium today.
How on Earth did that happen?!

And with all due respect both for Kevin and Romain, i wonder what more can be from the HAAS in the hands of 'premium' drivers.
