One of Liberty Media's biggest aims is to attract younger people for F1. An option they're thinking about is a little race on Saturdays.
On Friday there would be 2 practice sessions, like we have it now, but a new thing would be fans having access to cars and being able to take pictures. On Saturday the qualifying would not make up the starting grid for Sunday, but for a little race following qualifying and the end result of this would represent the starting grid for the real deal. Length would be about 100 km, no fuel limitations, no tyre limitations. Time set would be right before european football matches.
What are your opinions on that?
