So here are a couple of images of the actual 2017 car, note how the rads are still much thicker than this year.

Do you guys think that different exhaust layout on RB14 than on RS18 affects engine power? Different fuel definitely does.

RW endplates seem almost amateurish compared to STR/REN/MCL. I wonder if there is not a ridiculous amount of downforce available in this area... Or, this is part of the drag reducing they need with the REN engine...

Red Bull get most of their downforce from the diffuser and so rear wing philosophies might be different to Ren, STR and MCL. Red Bull have been known to be able to run low downforce rear wings without losing cornering speeds.

Every team gets most of their downforce from the floor

That makes no sense, because if that were true they would run low downforce wings everywhere. F1 cars get most of their cornering grip via downforce, thus, reducing downforce means lower cornering speeds(unless you're talking Eau Rouge, for example)

RB runs with less RW angle than Ferrari or Mercedes everywhere and they keep it up nicely. Since RW downforce and drag have a big impact on aero balance (and FW practically has only downforce to influence the balance), this brings even more argument to the table that their diffuser is top of the class.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

What doesn't make sense is that Red Bull are clearly running low wing levels and are still slower in sector 3 vs Ferrari and Mercedes, yet Daniel was still fastest in FP2 by 3/4's of a second over Hamilton and Bottas. Normally that gap is the other way around.

What have they found or is it purely Mercedes issues with the tyres I wonder.

Haven't seen anything on here yet. But I was watching the FP2 highlights on youtube and I noticed the frontwing on the RB14 looked different. Is it a new frontwing or the same one? Seems it is indeed new, and was put on both cars in FP2 so it must be working. Great news for RBR!
