I'm reasonably happy with qualifying considering their practice issues.

Also I disagree that they have not built a decent chassis. Last year at monaco they were the same distance back from the front with what we know was a weaker engine than they have now. That shows that last year's chassis was closer to the top than this years chassis is. They've lost ground over the winter and they've not got it back yet.

Decent in my eyes is 4th best considering their budget and workforce so last year's chassis was decent because it was most probably 4th best

There you go again, how do u know the engine was such a big impediment? Even with Ferrari engine they would have been behind Red Bull and so the chassis wasnt top 3 which they claimed for last two years. A top 3 chassis is what i say is decent and then aero will contribute even more to the overall car competitiveness.

At the moment we seem to be losing some time compared to Ocon. We seem to be gaining at the first part but losing time on second and third parts. However we are not racing Force India. We are racing against Renault and we are in front at the moment.

Correction we dont have the upper hand. We got to go to the end cause Hulkenberg is definately gonna change only once.

Unless we go to the end we might end behind Hulkenberg and Gasly. I might be wrong though but we definately need to make time so we can do a pit stop and still be in front of them.

If I was Alonso I would go till the end.

But he also had the same problem as ricciardo on the engine. I saw him drop 3 seconds to Ocon one lap. Channel 4 commentators picked up that his derate light was flashing in the same places on the track as ricciardo.

Then it was a box full of neutrals. Shame

It's too bad. We were doing ok so far.

Hopefully we see some better pace with some new updates in Canada and I hope that we can clear the midfield teams in Canada with these updates.At least they said that they will bring updates every race.

Most important thing this year is to clear the midfield and finish 4th and hopefully to show some pace compared to the first 3 teams.

You know Ocon seem a pretty impressive driver that we could get in the place of Vandoorne or in the place of Alonso when he retires. Vandoorne yet again is doing a poor job.
