Hulk placed a crappy williams at P1 in qually in Brazil once (was brazil, right?)
Maldonado put a Williams at P1 in spain in the race once.

incidents happen. doesn't make them racing wonders.

and markedly different mindsets. you know Vettel woke up that morning wishing the rain away.
Wow, what a skill difference. No chance Vettel could ever beat Hamilton on a wet track. Unless if he had vastly superior car, like that Toro Rosso was...
I know Vettel is a great driver....but not everyone can excel in every conditions..... Schumacher and Senna were the only ones to do that in the history of F1.

But please don't bring up the 2008 monza race as any indication for his superior wet weather skill....remember even Bordais had his career best qualy and race result in the toro rossi in that race.
And Stroll in 2017 Monza. :D

In either case it is obvious if it were a driver of a lesser stature the penalty imposed would have been more severe.
I agree with you.

I don't have a problem with Hamilton's potential "superior driving skills". Maybe he's the best out there, maybe not.

Did he drove a great race? Yes he did.

Would he have won without rain, SC and team orders? No, he wouldn't!
Why? Because he made mistake in Q1(not even in Q3).

I don't mind Mercedes team orders, I mind fan boys not accepting them!
"different kind of team order", "not coming from the cockpit", "maximising team effort" FFS!

We need more Hamilton fans and less fan boys, then there would be less haters too.

Winning from the back of the grid requires exceptional circumstances; that shouldn't diminish the fact that he took advantage of the stars aligning to the fullest extent possible.

Ok, can we then discuss Interlagos 2008? Where he overtook Hamilton in the rain indeed, with a Torro Rosso, but it nearly cost Hamilton the WDC and Hamilton was driving the better car that day. Luckily he overtook Glock in the last corner.

Without the safety car he was closing in at 2 sec per lap....he had reduced the 23 sec gap to Vettel to 10.4 in just 7 laps (there are lap charts in previous pages) before his crash....and with over 15 laps to go he would have easily caught Vettel....that is a clear fact as both Ferraris were struggling. I was disappointed when Vettel crashed because that would have given us a great finish.
Why? Because he made mistake in Q1(not even in Q3).
Read all the quotes and analysis from qualy, u will know that he ran wide because of the hydraulic problem....not the other way round.

Team orders suck I agree.... but the Merc one was a necessary one to secure the 1,2. Lewis didn't ask for it, it was a team decision , and he put up a great fight.

Why people are mad about Ferrari one is because Kimi a WDC and largest fan base of all was used as pawn to stop Lewis' progress, even if is on a 2 stop, this coupled with the lead switch had upsetted lots of Kimi fans... many Facebook Kimi fan group and other forums have shown Kimi fans on rampage about Karma for Vettel etc....and also the whinning from Vettel as not helped (because vettel fans accuse Lewis being cry baby, so they take advantage of this situation now).

Apparently, Hamilton has won all the rain GPs since the last 5 years. Last person to win another GP during rain was Daniel Ricciardo at Hungary 2014. Since then, Hamilton has won Japan 2014, Silverstone 2015, USA 2015, Monaco 2016, Silverstone 2016, Brazil 2016, China 2017, Singapore 2017 and most recently, Hockenheim 2018.

Even though the dominance of the Mercedes has helped Hamilton in this regard, his skill in the wet has led to other wins prior to Mercedes dominance in 2014. He won quite a few memorable races through an incredible pace on wet, among them Spa and Silverstone.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Yeah that is what I and established before.... the toro rosso was a good chassis which was better in rain as even Bordais had career best result with it in rain.

Glock was behind Lewis before the rain hit, glock did not pit for wet tyres and he was on slicks at that point..... it was not luck but wet tyre vs dry tyre that Lewis overtook glock

Nah.....Vettel fans cannot accept that their idol is not as fast as their rival in rain. Even if u show them the data

Hamilton has been particularly fast in rain with a few exceptions. This is the feeling and memories I have though I dont pay too much attention to last years because we haven´t seen truly wet races and with Mercedes dominance, Rosberg was the only rival. And let´s say it clearly, Nico was a great driver but not so good under the rain.

Would Vettel have won so many GPs this year without Ferrari having a better car? I am asking a similar question (both questions are highly logical OR totally illogical. Decide yourself).

Did Hamilton ordered rain?
Did Hamilton asked Vettel to go off?
Did Hamilton asked for team orders?
When was the last time a driver beat Hamilton to lead, after a SC restart? How different was the situation in Spa last year? Did he not save his lead? What's the ground to claim that Bottas would have beaten Hamilton?
Why is Hamilton's win questionable?

So how would u rate Schumacher and Senna?
Their teammates were not so good in rain aswell....... OR is it how they drive in rain making their teammates look ordinary?

Every driver goes through periods of good luck and bad luck. So in the end, it just evens out.
Here are some stats for Vettel and Hamilton, where they got DNF, having started from pole.

Vettel
Accident - 2
Car failure - 4

Hamilton
Accident - 4
Car Failure - 6
