What about the fuel that RB is using?

Is this era fuel is incredibly important, but RB decided to use "some other fuel", which necessitates lot's of dyno time to optimise(if possible at all, since it was designed for other fuel), and then RB decided to ditch Renault.
IMO it's only logical for Renault to give them subpar engine(in power and reliability).
What have they expected!!?

What they paid millions for... 7 race durability of components.

If I was red bull, I'd chargeback for every failure, and for every penalty as they purchased to meet the rules, and got no where close to the necessary quality to reach the end of the season without penalty.

Im sure there is some ultra liberal EU law they can bootstrap for such an occasion...

Yes, but if you're only getting one set of data that makes finding issues much harder, and you obviously have less time spent on refinements.

See Honda when only Mclaren were running one...

I sign contracts every day. If you agree to something, and then find a thousand excuses why you cannot deliver, I will put you out of business through the court system.

I rely on the contact that is signed to further my business goals. I don't care why you cannot deliver, just that your failure to costs me money.

There's only one team running Honda now.. STR and they've picked their act up big time. The engine looks strong now. Renault keeps showing these reliability issues that aren't thinning out even as development continues.

Max's failure was one of the electric motors. It isn't fuel related.

Did Max have new, lighter MGU-K in his car, or the old one that had to do with RBR themselves?

The old one, RB haven't taken any of the new design yet.

They would no doubt have signed several 'disclaimers' allowing the use outside Renault standards and with non Renault approved items. I would not be surprised it they were also run at above 'approved' limits some times.

Is it a coincidence that on two similar tracks, Monaco and Hungary, Red Bull have had 2 MGU-K failures?
