I couldn't hear the wastegate opening sound on the Ferrari. Though, I think I heard it once, but I'm not sure. Was ist just me? It must be told that it was spanish TV with the commentators talking without a break and background sound being bad. :)

Btw., AMuS telling that Spec 3 of Mercedes gives them a 0.25 sec improve per lap.
Is that Spa or in general, if it's in general it's a huge jump.

It doesn’t tell that specifically in the article.

And regarding the rest of my comment: Nevermind, I already heard the wastegate opening like always. :)

Any time Lewis does not top an FP1 usually means he will not win. Wonder if that pattern holds. I am watching the practice session on the F1 subscription. It's pretty cool. I like the service. And it's super cheap unlike MotoGP!

Toto said on Sky that they were doing fine on the soft tyre but not so good on medium one ...
That issue on the medium tyre could be due to:
1. their new wheel rim;
2. low track temp (medium tyre has a high working temp range);
3. a bit of both ...

Spain, Azerbaijan, Germany, Hungary. He won all of them without topping FP1.

It seems that regarding BSP1 (on the Kemel straight) there were some good tows after all:

- Kimi did 341km/h, Bottas 350, Ricci 340, Max 338, Leclerc 345 and Sainz 347!!! ...
- Then Lewis did only 334 and Vettel 333 ... so no tow or just using lower PU modes?

Those blisters on Kimi`s SS rear left tyre doesn`t look particularly good ...

Seems they are overheating them or just having too much lateral load on their rear suspension setup ...
That means he has the same setup as Hungary coz he thought it might rain during qualy and needs to put some heat into the wet weather tyres ...

Baku was major luck. In Germany and Hungary little miracles would have been necessary for Ham to win, if it didn’t rain.

But these are finished races. Let’s move on.

There was a simple statement made and i provided simple stats. There is nothing like luck in the game. Others' bad luck and sloppy performances don't count as luck for another driver.

Races occur in all weather conditions and that is why the caravan moves around the globe. If someone can't perform in all conditions, that is not a miracle for another driver. A driver wins because he did the job on the given day. Simple as that.

Let's move on.

Baku without the crash, Germany and Hungary in dry conditions would have most probably all been wins for another driver. And this shows that the statement of digitalrourani is not wrong. That's all I wanted to tell.

Otherwise I agree with you.

Yea, move on indeed. :)
