Well that was an absolute snoozefest.

Open up PU testing FIA, or else we have this two tier F1 indefinitely.
Its not Mercedes or Ferraris fault that Renault and Honda are not capable with keeping up the pace.

Not sure what Mercedes were expecting with that big rear wing, fast in a sector you cant overtake/follow but slow in the two where you can. Maybe they should've ran a skinny rear wing like Ferrari but its all hindsight.
It got them pole so maybe they gambled on wet race or mixed weather conditions.

I wonder what ‘little tricks’ Hamilton was talking about.
Classic Hamilton sooking, it was all fine when they had the dominant chassis and engine

How strange is life? A year back Lewis was on a Monza podium in the heart of Italy taking the piss out of the tifosi saying Mercedes power is better than Ferrari power.. Today, his body language suggested quite the opposite!
"Sebastian there's very, you're a member of a very select few.. Stewart, Lauda, Piquet, Senna, Prost, Schumacher, Fangio.. VETTEL!"

I wonder who is still paying attention to what he has to say. Lost a lot of credibility with his behaviour and comments this season.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

I don't understand why such a hue and cry needs to be made out of anything a driver says these days?

Boring race, but I didn't expect that VET overtake on lap 1.

Pirelli should have brought US-SS-S instead, are they going too conservative?

Give him a break. He's been passed like he stood still up the hill... apparently. Must have been sore. ;)

Clearly no tricks were employed last year when the Merc kept going up the hill when the Ferrari ran out of puff.

- What an absolute borefest. Do you think super DRS and slim front wings would have changed anything in this race? Nope.

- Race ban for Hulkenberg. We can't have dangerous driving and cars flying like that. It's a matter of safety, standards and hitting the right people [-o< . BTW Alonso - Maldo Abu Dhabi was equally bad.

I'm the last person to critic a driver expressing himself. But, Lewis tries to pass confusing images of himself that are difficult to understand. He was smug in Monza last year and looked low right now. It's fine. Just that he passed Seb at Barcelona last year like the opposition was still. It's racing. It happens.

I'm confused also from a WCC POV. Bottas didn't deserve a penalty today?

It looked like an DRS deployed overtake, but without it actually being deployed. It’s such a big difference in speed... That’s what’s so shocking about lap 1

The hatred against Lewis is childish. Toto Wolff and Niki Lauda have been saying what Lewis said today for months now, but no one has set their dogs on them, then Lewis mentions it and out pops a volcano. Is there more to this?

It was not DRS but slipstream.

Ocon in 3rd with the Merc engine almost passed Vettel. This shows that it is not the engine but drag being reduced by following the car in front.
