And sorry I could not resist lighting your a*rse on fire with my previous comment.
Clearly shows your level of immaturity and stupidity together! Great combo there, I must admit. Suits you brilliantly well. :) Hope you will be off from F1 with Alonso.
Looks like you will get your wish.

I´ve always enjoied Lewis driving, but IMHO time is proving best driver in F1 will be out of F1 next season. Lewis lacks mental strenght, he´s easily demotivated. And Vettel makes too many mistakes.... ok not that much, but when compared to Alonso, yes, he makes more mistakes by some margin

Hopefully he´ll win the triple crown in 2019 and someone will offer him a top seat in F1 for 2020 or 2021. He really deserves some more title

Has someone won F1, WEC and Indy championships? I think he can change the definition of triple crown ;)
Yes, Fuji 2007, Hungary 2007 were all definitions of mental toughness and not making 'mistakes.' Vettel and Hamilton are at least the same level as Alonso and if you ask me they're much better.

Vettel's start onboard

Quite a role reversal from last year. Feels good to see mercedes mugged on the straights, not gonna lie about that.

Oh, you think after watching Alonso from 2014-2018 there's still tears remaining?

EDIT: Please suggest the same to Hamilton, he barely managed to not-cry in the post-race interview.

You can see him releasing that hidden button at the same time as the clutch.

The halo certainly didn't save a life today and probably never will - Alonso landed too far forward.

Statistics are against the sort of freak accident the halo is meant to protect against, because the rollover hoop covers so much that, for the halo to help, you would have to drop an F1 car vertically on another and in a narrow range of angles.
It will also take something like a bomb going off to break an F1 monocoque. The halo is just a heavy, ugly, needless appendage that will more likely trap a driver in an overturned car than protect them from a flying wheel or debris. A polycarbonate cockpit will look better and perform better, even against the sort of debris that knocked Massa out.

Something had to be done after the Bianchi crash and the legal action that followed, therefore we rightly got the virtual safety car, with the halo being an excessive extra.

And keeps his 4th place. He was about 8 seconds ahead of Perez

Thanks for this. Gets to top speed quickly after Raidillon, engine RPM sounds constant for most of that straight. Any tachometer readings for this race? Merc showed 13.3k RPM during wheelspin in the Force India car during quali. Again the diff whine is very prevalent (from the SF71H) in this video. Mic must be near the back of the car or inside the gearbox.

[...] Did anyone think the result would be anything other than Vet 1, Ham 2? A foregone conclusion.

Which is why I went to the pub at 12.30 and came home at 5.30. Great time with great people. Chatting to various people, all agreed that the likely result was Vettel passing Hamilton on the Kemmel before driving away. The title will be decided by reliability and consistency. We talked more about the MotoGP race up the road at Silverstone. And that is F1's problem right there...

Que ?

It's a well known fact Lewis becomes despondent when he doesn't live up to his own standards. It's his trademark. And starting from pole today, it was nothing short of a race win. It's funny you suddenly think that makes him weak or less of a driver  By the time the next race arrives, it's long forgotten. In contrast, Alonso is running with his tail between his legs.

Yeah, second best driver in the best car beats best driver in second best car. Did anyone think the result would be anything other than Vet 1, Ham 2? A foregone conclusion.
