Leaders all driving at well below the pace - Alonso just went 2 seconds quicker than Hamilton!
This is embarrassing, really.
Why ?
With limited engine parts and cheese tyres there is no point in pushing

Bottas must be in traffic - he loses lumps of time now and then.

Not pleased at all with Bottas today. :|

Gotta hand it to Kimi though. He is doing exactly what he should be (putting on pressure on Bottas).
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Given magnussen's pace they really should have pitted ricciardo on the hypers. He has nothing to lose anyway.

Bottas has been by far the worst driver in a top 3 car today. Vettel on US tyres should be hanging on with Bottas in his gearbox instead he is 9.7sec ahead. In comparison Vettel is now losing tons of time to Hamilton and Verstappen on the same tyres as Bottas.

This is the fact. Something should change because we want to see the drivers pushing.

My prediction for Vettel's end of race interview? "I'm not worried, there are still many races and points to go."

Seems he cant get close enough to Hulkenberg to lap him... still, no excuse though. From Mercedes point of view, they should have inflicted maximum damage/pressure on Vettel/Ferrari for putting on the wrong tire.
