How to see Bottas confident here from last year's performance.

I think Ferrari will be difficult to beat unless the best they qualify is the 2nd row. Massive tow from the start...
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Yeah front row here is not all its cracked up to be. I'd say P3 is equal to pole!😉

Yeah, strangely enough, a second row lockout in Sochi is pretty advantageous so long as you get a good start.

I keep backing Vettel for poles and wins recently and then Hamilton comes along and steals the show. I think this might once again be closer than we think.

I'd say contact in turn 1 with first and second row cars.

I’ll say Ferrari/Vettel leading after one lap. Seriously, with that tow? Even if Merc gets pole, i dont think they could hold it. Still long to go though till Saturday/Sunday...

The Ferrari usually is the quickest of the line, they seem to have gotten real good at that. Both RBRs are expected (all but confirmed) to start from the back of the grid with fresh Spec2 engines so they won't be in the mix. Might even skip Q3?

If that's the case it won't be good for Ferrari!

Never mind, no rain now ? Nice weather really? Oh well Vettel needs to win a few.

I wouldn't git it to him yet, if Mercedes has truly made strides with their low speed handling and grip, it could just as easily go Lewis's way. Not to mention if RBR does start from the back of the grid, the front 4 will quickly build a huge gap, and strategies will play a big part.

Personally looking for a Ferrari front row lockout to challenge the Mercedes Cars. I want to watch something interesting here in Russia!

Also curious to see what Red Bull can do here as well.
