Ferrari is 0.4+ seconds a lap slower and has very bad tyre wear here.

Under normal, reliable racing conditions they stand no chance of winning.
Don't confuse quali pace with race pace, though I agree they are going to have some bad tire degradation issues.

I think on sheer pace, the Ferrari doesn't have what it needs to win, but I hope I'm wrong.

Hamilton could have a mechanical issue or maybe someone will rip one of the corners off his car on the first lap. One can hope.
So we’re back to hoping a driver gets a DNF again.
So long as it's anti-Hamilton, it's ok on here, it seems.

Looks like it will dry out. Still have 2hours.

Just wondering why F2 can use DRS in the wet :?

If temperatures remain low it could be tricky at the start, even without another quick shower.

I wonder if Ferrari falling off so much in the last sector is a function of ERS deployment mapping, and/or an indication Ferrari have a lower absolute recovery than Mercedes?

On AMuS there is an article that hints that according to Renault’s GPS, whatever Ferrari was deploying and gaining performance wise, stopped since Singapore....

Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

What the heck? Why is FIA being so indecisive about that corner? Di Resta is right, they need to be black and white about it.

About the race: I hope there wont be any team orders. If Hamilton wins fair and square, great. If he doesnt, so be it.

Somehow predicting Bottas win, ahead of Hamilton. I think Vettel might get ahead of Hamilton at the start though. I think Hamilton will somehow get by though, either on pace or strategy.

Ferrari's performance and tyre management seem to have gone out the window at the same time as their bag of pre-race dry ice was banned by the FIA. Coincidence?

Most likely using an older Spec PU, which didn't have that advantage? There are power sensitive circuits remaining on the calendar and they need to save the PU for that.

Big drama incoming. VET will crash with HAM, who then will DNF, and of course VET will get punished, but still can recover to win because BOT will botch it.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.
