Interesting device. Anyone just getting the line wrong slightly could find themselves in the armco visible just in the right of the picture...
Could be worse, it could be monaco where there is no room for error. I'd like to see the FIA put something on the inside of every corner to stop some drivers taking the P1$$. Also there are many corners that need something on the exits, like T9 and the penultimate turn.

That Halo HUD still looks horrible, but that I can accept. What I can't accept is that we're almost at the end of the season and that thing still isn't synchronized. I mean, the gear changes you hear have absolutely nothing to do with the rev counter on the screen, so if you're gonna do it wrong, why even bother?

It's really incredible considering this is the pinnacle of tech, bought by a media company lol.

And also considering that they could make it work in the early 2000's.

This is nothing new. Telemetry has been out of sync since 2016 when full hd cameras were introduced. Do not expect it to (perhaps ever) be fixed.

Yeah, but at least up until this year it was more discrete, not this HUD that takes up half of the screen.
I wonder that their intention is by using so much of the screen with telemetry that's clearly out of sync. The only that comes to mind is that they want to impress the average moron that knows nothing about cars.

FP1: Hamboy marking his territory while everyone else is cruising.

Rainy fridays are sooo lame... But no one beats FIA. Interrupting a session because of gravel. XD

At least Bernie looked after current fans (they may be rich current fans, but current fans none the less)
This new lot just want new numbers, more people, slowly chipping away at ruining the sport.

I actually agree with their decision. Having gravel on a corner where the car becomes "lighter" on a wet session is not even close to ideal, so they might as well enjoy the fact that nobody is running anyway, and red flag the session for a few minutes to clean it.

Driver leading championship by large margin does X, everyone else does Y. Who's right...?
