Renault F1 R.S. 19

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Front top wishbone trailing pick point is angled ultra aggressively
And the cavities behind the drivers head and shoulders have a singular shape.

I think i read on Twitter its not a new car at all...just some new aero parts on old chassis.
They are pushing development so hard, they are not even sure if they'll make it to monday.

The actual car they have at presentation isn't new, but these renderings do show the new car.

Interesting. It seems that they've abandoned angled exhaust/wastegates

And again. Render looks like the real thing +- few simplified parts as floor and etc.

Live presentation was just last year's car with 2019ish FW

Renault launches its R.S.2019

Renault is the third team to pull off the covers of its 2019 F1 contender, the R.S.19. During a slightly delayed launch event across its social media platforms, it revealed quite an elaborate car.

Isn't the bodywork over the PU and the sidepods alot slimmer this year?
