Red Bull RB15

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

IS that angled exhaust?
Difficult to say for sure, but my impression that it's just the rake of the car.

Can't wait for some top down shots from testing, I'm curious to see the device they use behind the bargeboards.

Talking about the piece the mechanic's hand is on.

It looks like the RB has more cooling placed above and rear of the engine compared to the STR when you look at the fin size between the two.

I didn't see anyone else spot this -

They have full wheel covers on the inside of the wheel. I first thought it was just the studio shots but you can see it running on track -

this looks really agressive, i hope they didnt take hondas data as assured that they can run this little cooling/ venting.. if its ok its a massive step forward from Honda, the smallest, lightest , and lowest COG, PU in the grid. Mclaren must me going nuts...

Curious about the engine, not a Honda expert. what makes you say it has the lowest CoG? I would also say the engine cover actually looks taller than the Merc..

Isn't that whole area now regulation. I think every car so far had this as a closed off disk?
