Sidepods are quite large. Perhaps the Ferrari engine isn’t as much of a breakthrough with cooling as rumours have suggested.

Amazing job though. True innovations with the wing

That nose and front wing might be the biggest surprise to me of all the new cars this year. Are they trying to move the air to the inside of the front wheels rather than the outside?
If you no longer go for the space someone always has to leave, you're no longer a racing driver

The uppermost flap is allowed to sport one. It's specifically mentioned in the regulations.

Sure they're not that small (especially compare to last year's Ferrari or this year's Red Bull) but that doesn't indicate anything about the cooling efficient of the Ferrari PU. Perhaps they didn't achieve a "clean" airflow at that point and therefore they were forced to create a larger intake/sidepod.

The rear suspension covers potentially look like they're being used as a vane to direct airflow downward. Or this may just be the lighting, interesting design though, will be good to see them up close.

EDIT- And the airbox! What the heck is going on there!

At first glance it seems that Sauber tried to make the lower part of the engine cover as slim as possible while making the part behind the engine intake quite bulky. It would be interesting to see how that will work against the Ferrari or the Haas interpretation...
