I think he means the slot just above the wastegate pipes. Seen on the picture of the rear of the car.

You can see a hollow section above the two pipes (Wastegate)

It looks like they have made the upper part of the air intake and body of the car smaller but moved things into the sidepods. I'm assuming there will be a lot of differences in testing as there aren't as many changes as I expected.

To my eye it looks like the engine cover is very tightly packaged, behind the air intake, the size of the shark fin gives it away a little, perhaps they are putting more back into the side pods to free up space above the engine, to help get as much air to the rear wing as possible, backed up also by the smaller air intake.

I don't expect much change come testing. We say we'll see new parts every year and then nothing happens. I think most of their work clearly happened under the hood since the Car seems under developed in terms of small details compared to SF-71! Strange...

I think, come Monday, we'll see the new rims. Especially the rear ones which will feature a Mercedes like design. Since the front brake ducts are a bit larger and have diffierent compartments I would also say we're going to see new front rims aswell.

You can barely make out any small details, so big call to call it underdeveloped.

Try and remain unencumbered by the weight of expectation. The only reason we were expecting “more” is because 2017/18 saw them usher in an entirely new concept (high sidepods). We don’t know the half of what’s going on yet.

Hydraulic rear suspension should see a solid improvement for slow speed, and we already ruled the roost in high speed. It didn’t need to be a revolution.

You can’t compare it to McLaren and say we did nothing. Of course, we didn’t radically change concepts, but we weren’t almost dead last in 2018 so... why would ya?

maybe we are underestimating the FW question: it is a far different concept from RB and Merc.
I would say that is not likely that both are delivring the same performance...which one will be the "right" one?
