So not every driver will have the new 2019 helmet standard. I assume they are allowed to test and just need to get the new design in time for Melbourne, right?

been waiting for this to start, will glued to timing screens even though it doesn't mean much LOL. I wonder of there will be any periscopes like the last few years.

They said it was 1.5sec slower when they first put it in the windtunmel. Expect to cars to be faster than at the beginning in 2018. if they‘re faster than at the end of 2018? We‘ll see.

Apparently there are no real regs about helmets in testing so it seems that way. Must be the first time this has happened?

None of the above site shows how many laps completed.. strange! GPTODAY changed their views from 2018.

GP Today net does, they just have it labeled wrong. Difference instead of laps.
