I saw somewhere that they were going to be more conservative but I am not 100% sure.

Iirc Pirelli mentioned that they widened the gap between the compounds. Last year the S, SS and US were too similar.
My guess: I'd expect the C3 compound to be like last years soft, C4 (one step softer) like somthing between supersoft and ultrasoft and the C5 like last years hypersoft.

Also the Honda sounds very aggressive, it's unbelievable And i like how you can separate the engines by sound. Renault, Ferrari and Honda sound different, while the Ferrari and Merc engines sound most similar.

They said it was 1.5sec slower when they first put it in the windtunmel. Expect to cars to be faster than at the beginning in 2018. if they‘re faster than at the end of 2018? We‘ll see.

First hour of first test and they put very close lap time to last years first day's fastest time. It looks like they will be faster

Testing times a meaningless, and last year was a way much colder, we had snow and rain during the 1st test week
