Why does the car look like it's on unmarked tires? With no sidewall colors at all? Are these just white C2s that have faded away?

It's quite hilarious listening to these commentators; when Mclaren do quick laps they're glory runs but Toro Rosso's run on C5 suddenly makes them and Honda scary fast and a threat to the top 3.

McLaren could win a race and they'd still say the team is in trouble.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

It did feel a bit underwhelming, but they managed some long runs and I think they mentioned yesterday that Carlos would be doing aero work today.... Or did I imagine that?

I was watching it on mute once Herbert left. Those other 2 with Buxton (who is bad enough) were dire. Sky testing commentators lol.

It was not long ago that we used to say that McLaren had quite a good day of testing when they hit around the 90-100 laps a day. Today they have managed to do 90 laps, but we say it has been a hard day
To me this sounds as progress.

They lost today more than three hours in total, most likely not all had time.

Sounds like they could have been changing engine or gearbox or floor or something. Doesn't necessarily mean it was a negative thing.

I think despite the hiccups they completed their program. Otherwise when the car was ready to run in the final hour they wouldn't have pitted.

90 laps is a steady day- far from a disaster.

You have to give credit to Ferrari and Merc for pushing 150 laps but ultimately Renault (and Honda) aren’t that far down the road with their units.

An interesting mix of times today. Although “9th”, Sainzs time on a C3 tyre wasn’t too bad when you adjust for tyre compound.

Have McLaren been using DRS?

How many laps did Kvyat do before pitting on his "amazing lap"? McLaren's "glory runs" were at least 7-8 laps of fuel as the guys did 3 hot laps with 1 cooldown lap in between.
