It’s slightly better than last year... But still missing things that the original had... For example, picking a driver and been able to tell the difference per sector to the guys in front and behind that driver... Have to make the math on your own if interested in that.

Don’t they realize that the ones using that are in there for the times/deltas? They need a regular fan to advise them!

Same here. Fcking joke. Woke up for nothing
Yep, we all in the same boat. I expected at least FP1 to work fine as EU traffic will be quite low at this time. Silly me.

2018 FP1 fastest lap
1:24.026 Lewis

2019 FP1 fastest lap(so far)
1:23.599 Lewis

I think 2019 lap was done on harder tyres?

2018 lap was done on ultrasofts, his fastest time today is on C3 tires. Harder tires, yes.

Bearded Bottas being brazen with the barriers!

I believe c4 is the red soft tyre here so comparable to ultra soft. The gap back to midfield looks same as usual, no sign of them closing up to within half a second as rumours suggested. Also either Ferrari drivers are that close or they drove to match Hamilton's lap time and have plenty in hand.

Anyone know Hamilton's sector times as it looked like he improved sector 2 and 3 on second lap but didn't go quicker in sector 1.

GO KIMI!!!

That is a good start.

Merc and Ferrari looks even.

Gasly as his name, just a cloud of gas.

Bottas is already bitter.

Looking good.

If FP1 is the sign of things to come, then Ricciardo is in for a really rough whipping from Hulkenburg.
Hulk missed a huge chunk of FP, yet was leagues faster than Ric.

As for the rest of the field? Normal service. Usual culprits at the front, no change in midfield and back-marker badges.

It was mentioned that Ricciardo had traffic on his fast lap attempts. Barring as many DNFs as 2018, RIC should have the measure of the HULK.
