Renault still need to unleash PU
Ferrari is for now the worst 2019 PU with their issue
Verstappen said that he used " party mode" to overtake Vettel with its low perf Ferrari engine

Honda is currently the second best engine of 2019, because they use it more than others
Nonsense. Ferrari engine issue is just a lame conjecture.

And what do you think, shifty Renault was running on low power just to screw themselves?

Due to Melbourne is hard to overtake, it's logical they need to use "overtake button" as every manufacturer have for sure. Even if the Ferrari wasn't working full potential, you need to in a track like it. So, I don't understand the point of "using party mode", if that make life easy on overtaking...

2019/03/20 Honda F1 was rewarded with hard work.

"Helmut Marko: "I am very happy that the gap with Mercedes AMG has been reduced, because we were able to close the gap this much in the final compared to qualifying. But at the moment, we also know that our chassis is significantly inferior. If it can be improved, it is possible to challenge whoever is ahead. Because our power unit this year is competitive, we have to do now is the chassis side. In other words, you can win if the chassis improves. The rest is up to us. "

Even with the good results of the third place podium, Red Bull and Honda are not satisfied with it, and they are reluctant to reassure themselves with an even higher mind. President Christian Horner says:

"The power units supplied by Honda were excellent. I think we have already achieved the goal of closing the gap with Mercedes AMG and Ferrari.

But we must make further progress on this basis. Ferrari wasn't strong here, but it's definitely going to be rumbling. "It's too early to talk about the title battle. F1 is a world without a stop. Only one of the 21 races is over. We can do it, and we must use it firmly from now on and connect in the future "

I believe Honda can develop through the season. They have shown it every year. They made a lousy start with a handicaped 2015 design, but even that has been improved in 2016.

They can improve, but don’t be fooled by Melbourne. Years of low-power Renault units, have pushed Redbull into creating low drag, efficiënt DF chassis. They also need to find more total DF, to make use of any extra Honda horsepower. Topspeed is not everything. But i know they can both pull it of.

this reaction and the words of Toto shows clearly, Honda is close again and that they are competitive this year, but Bahrain and China will tell us the true story on how close Honda really is

No, if you want to really see the gap, its Canada (highest fuel consumption) and SPA (second highest WOT, with so many technical corner). Unfortunately Sepang is not there anymore (hottest circuit)

already posted this in Australia GP topic but watch these comparison

Speed trap Merc and RB win speed, Ferrari loses
T1 speed, Ferrari loses big, Merc just a bit, RB almost equal to last year
T2 speed All loses but Ferrari and Merc more then RB
Finish line speed, RB the biggest gainer compared to 2018, Ferrari loses speed again, Merc gains a bit

and watch the McLaren and Toro Rosso :wtf:
