@AlbertFabrega
Car 33 was behind the camera and Albon was 2 cars behind Norris, so nobody was visable from Honda crew. Idk, the reporter girl on the right, behind Saintz left rear?

Hamilton sees the Red Bulls as a threat for China. The really long straights here are going to help/hurt if cars are within DRS range. If the Red Bulls can keep out of DRS range they should be OK. Pierre says he's not as familiar with the track and Max hasn't had a good result here yet either. It's going to be a tough race for Honda and a good test to see how far they and STR have come since last year.

“At the moment it’s clearly not just me and Sebastian,” he said. “So, I don’t see that changing any time soon. At the moment it’s at least four of us and the Red Bulls, you definitely can’t count them out.

“They’ve had a bit of a slower start, but I think if you look at last year for example they won the race here and they particularly finished strong. I anticipate it could be something similar.

“On the straights they’ve been really good so they are clearly, whereas they usually have a really strong car and not so strong engine, it’s the other way this year. They’ve got not as strong a car. But they’re one of the teams that can develop at a similar rate to Ferrari and us so it’s far too early to say.”

Verstappen to Dutch media said a pre-mounted part done at the factory was the cause of their troubles - what could this be, and are the cars shipped straight to Bahrain from Australia or do they go back to the factory?

if the cars would be shipped straight to Bahrain, RBR could have a little problem.... at least for this coming race 8)

I'd guess the suspension springs and dampers are pre-assembled, sounds like someone screwed that up.

No, if the cars went from Australia to Bahrain they could have had this issue in both races, now that they found and fixed it hopefully Marko's two tenths off Ferrari becomes a reality 😁

Verstappen lost nearly 5 tenths in the third sector on his fastest lap. Also they mentioned the top speed was measly 308, not sure what the fuel level was.

Interestingly, Albon got upto 319 on the back straight, same as Williams.
Never Give up.

Red Bull are trying out 2 different rear wings, Max was supposed to run more rear wing than Gasly.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Ah, maybe thats why he was so fast in the first 2 sectors and Gasly was so slow in the second sector

Its too early but car is competitive. Max was within few tenths on hardest tyres. His lap on soft didnt improve on final sector so there is room for improvement.
Gasly is aghastly poor again just above Kvyat.

Little mistake from Max in the last corner of his fast lap.

That's looking better than Bahréin at the moment. But until Q3, better to be cautious :)

Did Verstappen say he had a clutch issue while coming into the pits?

Yes.
After the training he said: It wasn't the clutch. There was a problem, but it wasn't a big problem

"Na de training vertelde Verstappen aan GPToday.net dat er inderdaad een probleem was, maar niet met de koppeling. "Er was geen probleem met de koppeling. Er was wel iets aan de hand, maar het was geen groot probleem.
https://www.gptoday.net/nl/nieuws/f1/24 ... -koppeling
But what the problem was isn't mentioned at all...
