Wonder what Riccado would have do in that Rbr Max is not real a Monaco specialist
p3 with a lesser gap
you guys gonna see a dull Mercs winning 1-2 in almost every race in 2019 unless one of this 2 options happens
either Ferrari and RBR adopt the suspension mercs got i assume it would need alot of time to fine setup it
or the two teams protest for FIA to ban it till 2020 it was Ferrari proposal anyway...
para bellum.

Dream scenario - Bottas to take out Hamilton in turn 2 tomorrow. Thats the least F1 Gods could do tomorrow to save the 2019 season.

Gasly impeding Grosjean was a pretty harsh move, I think a penalty is on the way.

Vettel rear ends Bottas who squeezes Hamilton, Kvyat gets past him and hands the lead to Verstappen, who cruises to victory.

Can Max divebomb one (or two) of the Mercedes in turn 1? Only chance to make this race a bit more diverse.

Yea don't think just changing the suspension is going to improve them. RBR actually have one of the more advanced suspension setups are are pretty good in the corners I think they just lack down force.

Merc have a certain setup because of the length of the car, they need extra help from the suspension to rotate the car especially in slow corners. Putting this setup on a shorter car would probably just make the cars over steer.

Ferrari have admitted to needing to rework their suspension but their aero concept is also different so copying Merc probably wouldn't be a good idea.

He couldn't find right tyre temp and left last attempt after .2 slow first sector.
Can he overtake one merc at start?
Tyre life is important at race I think. And Mercedes were good at that area

Mercs were down .4 on RBRin 2018 Monaco qualy now they are up .5 in qualy, down .2 on Ferrari and now up .8 .. what kind of downforce will make them go full banzai against their archrivals in the matter of some months , ironically someone mooted a one second gap to their rivals before the season even started was it for some downforce calculated as well ?!!
para bellum.

Ok. Both Mercs went from Strat 3 engine mode in Q2 to Strat 2 engine mode in Q3. My guess is these 5 tenths are distributed this way - 2,5 tenths from Max (not good tyre management) in Q3 and 2,5 tenths from engine mode (better torque delivery and max power for Mercs). 2,5 tenths from Max are recoverable in next races. Other 2,5 tenths should come from Honda. I think they have a lot of work to do in qualy modes and still have considerable difference of max power to recover. My bet is Mercs dont have aero advantage at this moment.

Max is the only driver among the top 10 who didn't improve his lap time from q2 I think they is a bit performance left on the table

As good as he is, he keeps botching his last Q3 attempt over and over again. #-o

Yet still had few tenths on Gasly and quicker than Seb.
