Reason: toning the accusation a tad down.

Wow, and people complain about Lewis being a cry baby..... it’s a 5 second penalty that they have 2 hours to sort out, don’t make things worse for yourself!

Shaking hands with Hamilton. =D> His anger is with the stewards...

I'm so proud to be a fan of the top two today. Such heat of the moment reactions but so much respect for one another!! Pure class!

Hamilton can not be punished because it's racist since 2008
Haha punished for what? :wtf:
He races for Mercedes and maximizing points for his team. He is not even a part of this vettel debacle. This is between vettel, his error and the stewards.
And in strict sense of the word, if hamilton did not have control over his car he would have crashed and seb continue.
So i beleive the call was right from the FIA.
If they didn't punish Seb, and ferrari won, we would be blaming them for being soft on seb. So i think they made a very fair judgement. Hard but fair.
All seb had to do was not quake under pressure and the win would have been his.
For Sure!!

I'm sure he didn't really need to go all across the track, he did it to defend. He points the car at the wall, on instinct

Fair enough, but so was the penalty afaic, as he went off after all

This is Formula Hamilton. Luis have FIA in his pocket.
What if Vettel didn't run out of talent in the first place?
That is far too harsh. Hamilton had much better tires and arguably the better car. I think Vettel did extremely well driving the way he did and under severe pressure.

Hamilton locked up multiple times too, just not there.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Hamilton wins Canadian GP thanks to Vettel penalty

Formula One has seen yet another controversial result of a Grand Prix as Lewis Hamiton inherited the race win after a controversial 5s penalty for race leader Sebastian Vettel. An infuriated Vettel was classified second, ahead of Leclerc in third.

OK, I support Hamilton but my real support is for Ferrari.
Vettel made a mistake and his return to the track infringed the rules. 5 second penalty. That is the rules.

Alternative rules do not exist.

I have to say I dont agree with the current rules but they are what are agreed by all.
