Stewards have themselves to blame for the incident involving Vettel and Verstappen. Had they given a penalty for Verstappen for gaining an advantage by leaving the track and getting ahead of Leclerc, the event wouldn't have arise for Vettel to crash.
Leclerc's driving was borderline questionable a few moments. Light a fire in Verstappen though, and Leclerc may come to regret it.
Light a fire and bring the crashator of the yesteryear back! That would be fun to watch.

Today he was schooled though.

i am an official lecrec fan now. what FIA cant do.. other drivers could not do Lecrec did today.
He gave Verstappen taste of his own medicine , he taught him a lesson , he should never forget. Absolutely mega drive from him. Best race of the season. fights all over the track. this is how f1 should be. may be Ferrari instructed Vettel to "avenge" the "austria" :) hahaha. Ferrari should replace "Vettel" with "Alonso".
Thank Max instead for starting hard racing again which was missing in the initial few races. It was fair in Austria between him & Leclerc and it was fair again today as well. So I dont think its about giving taste of own medicine & teaching a lesson
Take it as you wish. in my words it was just a payback in same currency. soon other drivers will do the same to him and then FIA will defend "drivers" in name of "exciting" racing as well. he has set the new standard of "aggressive" defending so has to take the same and he will learn the lessons of track. better "Take it and swallow or Stay at home :)".

Can't stand the reality. So touchy, Huh? #-o
Not me. I'm not particularly a Max fan but I can't help think he did nothing wrong with Vettel.

I thought initially that Max was due a penalty for off track advantage against Charles in Club corner, but it was pointed out that Charles was also off track so it was fair.

See, it's possible to even handed when assessing incidents.

Moving on.

Oh, so it's just the Vettel hatred then I guess.

Charles had his right tyres on the line. You should watch that video.

It was a racing incident caused by Vettel making a mistake. He's admitted it. Move on.

How often a driver would have watched the full sequence of the event before they come and talk to press? When they do come and face, they can only speak what they witnessed from cock-pit. People watching and re-watching the slow-mos and on boards generally get the perspective better. Once the driver goes back and then looks at everything, they would sound different. So hold your horses before moving on.

Vettel apologised to Max. If he thought Max was at fault at any point, he would have gone looking for the evidence, not apologise.

So, move on. "You're not here for the hunting, are you?"

If i'm not mistaken Verstappen never moved right/left but kept going straight towards the apex (i'd love to see an onboard from Max to confirm this) and obviously had to brake earlier being so far off line (something Vettel should have taken into account) - The track has a slight kink there, the gap which Vettel supposedly saw was never there.

Your blatant bias towards certain drivers is clouding your judgement @ those who think Verstappen is in any way to blame for the incident.
Nice analysis =D>

Vettel says he screwed up. He admits it? what is the problem?
Maybe he helped Ferrari get the other car on the podium?

Things happen. its racing.

Other than that, yes. Seb needs a reset.

Yeh. Merc, Ferrari, RBR Honda and, I hope Mclaren slugging it out would be bliss.

I would very much like to include Williams, but... well, it is not fiction

Super unlucky for Bottas, although I don't understand how he didn't get fastest lap on the last lap. He should know by now that is when Hamilton goes for it.
According to Wolff Bottas said he had nothing left in the tyres.

I have to ask, why the pink hat for Lewis?
It's some special limited edition (#3) cap in totally-not-pink but "Unique Cayenne Red" from a limited edition cap series which can be yours for just 45€.
