Where did this topic turn into a children's 'no he did it!' playground?
That's a good question. At this moment it's purely ego and sticking to the argument for the sake of argument. I even feel this to be a bit distasteful considering the physical state of Michael Schumacher. Not that has been brought up here, but you'd think people would atleast keep the discussion in a serene state because of that, regardless if you favor him or not.

Even mathematically/in probability theory, if F1 continues to exist for an infinite amount of time, the probability of each of the options in the poll occurring will approach 100%. The literal answer to the topic is yes.
But the real topic is 'In your opinion, will the records be broken' which is different and opinionated and always degenerates into these kind of playground threads.

Maybe you could only accept answers that show the calculations to derive the probability of the records being broken :D

Oh dear, how did I got here? Must have taken a wrong left at the race thread after a sharp right from the 2019 aero solutions topics. I'll be leaving now

No but seriously. Guys, I saw this turned out to be a Schumacher vs Hamilton "who is the greatest" topic. Usually it ends up with people vying for the "who can go the lowest" trophy. Remain respectful please. Both are all time legends anyhow concerning F1.
I've been tryin' boss man. I think it's stayed relatively level and deserves to be here as a topic of discussion.

It's funny that people have a hard time putting aside the "fandom" in a case like this. If you're a Schumacher supporter you can appreciate the long standing established records and the fact that they seemed and may still prove insurmountable in our lifetime. If you're a Hamilton fan you can appreciate the fact that being in the Schumacher neighborhood is a testament to his abilities and the fact that one or both may be achievable is mind boggling.

A nice symbiotic equilibrium here. I'm sure that should one of the records fall, the Schumacher family would be right there with Hamilton to congratulate him on the achievement.

I am a big Schumacher fan, I am sure HE would appreciate someone besting his record because HE would know what it took

It's a dutch expression, meaning it's very simple.
