You don't notice any difference in the behaviour of these cars? I don't know... stability? required steering input, sometimes even on a freakin straight? I'm not an expert in driving an F1 car obviously, so I might be wrong, but if it is similar to a car or a kart it looks like he's not far from loosing the car and You can't really go much further than that. If You have to counter that many times on turn in and on the corner to keep more less smooth line (for instance like in around 3 minutes mark), then this car drives like --- in my book.
Read my post. I see the difference I have just asked the reason behind this behaviour.
Sorry, I misunderstood Your post. Well Williams says the cars are the same... George suggested that maybe Robert can't understand the engineers (lol)
No problem mate, I hope Robert can solve his problems as I really want to see him being competitive again.

Maybe they have a different steering setup, maybe more power steering on Kubica's car or something. Russell's wheel is much steadier.

I think it's become painfully clear that Robert is not the same driver. If he was he would not have been rejected by Renault.

The pitlane thing was a warning that you could let slide as one mistake, but the guy just can't get the car turned into corners.
Is that serious or sarcastic?
https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/13172 ... en-changes thats the sole reason why Robert has been rejected by Renault.
I'm afraid not. It's painfully obvious that Kubica was and is having trouble getting that car turned properly into corners. He was rejected by Renault for a reason and that was before Sainz was signed. All things being equal he's a better driver than Sainz.

Well, in Silverstone they were noticably closer in qualifying to pole than before, I think this could be seen as progres (gap to pole position):

Australia: 3,874 (104,8%)
Bahrain: 3,893 (104,4%)
China: 3,706 (104,1%)
Azerbaijan: 4,567 (104,5%)
Spain: 3,666 (104,9%)
Monaco: 3,311 (104,7%)
Canada: 3,377 (104,8%)
France: 4,470 (105,1%)
Austria: 2,901 (104,6%)
GB: 2,696 (103,2%)

That does seem like progress and combined with in Austria they where battling on track for a spell.
Not to mention Silverstone is longer track so a bigger lap time difference should be expected

Here is the table for collaboration with Mercedes from the start of 2014 season.
What happened last two years? The gap is bigger and bigger.
There is a slight improvement or maybe it's too early to say but it's still a big gap.

The upgrades are a success they've essentially bolted on .7 seconds simply changing the bargeboards.

Let's hope they get under the 103% barrier in qualy this weekend in Germany. That's a start.

Not all of them. Some parts broke right at the warm up lap, so manufacture problems still persist. Suspension tried today on Robert's car has been fitted as the suspension which worked on George's car (silverstone spec) haven't worked on Robert's. They tested many different parts on both cars and probably we'll see yet another spec on FP3. At least they're trying and I really hope they'll close the gap

Robert's chassis has been replaced overnight - his car has been fitted with a chassis GR started season with. Big pace drop expected...
