True GOATs don’t need the help of superior material to win.

Tom Brady, Usain Bolt are true GOATs.

Pit adjusted Hamilton was never more than 13 seconds in front. Verstappen managed to make a 10 second gap twice or three times everytime the SC took away his advantage.
See here

Pit adjusted time? Huh, I’ll stick to the timing screen which said 30 seconds. .
Pit adjusted means: Verstappen pitted, Hamilton yet to pit.

Is this your first time watching racing?
Was he or was he not 30 seconds in front

And Hamilton keeps his run of finishing in the points! (he's on 23 now, Verstappen on 20, in Verstappen's case all top 5)

There we have it Lewis increases his lead in the championship by 2 points. Also the last time Lewis finished a race outside the points remains...Spain 2013.

to BOT, who is not a serious threat anyway.
VES & VET gained a lot on him today.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Changing conditions for every race now please. What an interesting race to watch.

Also I loved that Drag Strip runoff. No tarmac that gives 100% security. In the wet with the slow speeds it was safe to crash there!

For the first time since quite some time the cars looked a handful to drive. I enjoyed this very much!

EDIT: when Hulk was interviewed he said that he didn't know the drag was slippery as ice. Do the engineers not give out information like: DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU HAVE RALLYING SKILLS LIKE KIMI BECAUSE IT'S LETHAL?

But yeah, out of eleven races, he lost points twice on Verstappen and Vettel and three times on Bottas. So, not really a threat.

Ves is 63 points behind I believe
Vet is 84

If vet is considered a threat, it’d be the comeback of the century

I dont know if you are sarcastic or are really so oblivious to how racing and pit stops work.

Well it's clear Mercedes does not enjoy the same advantage as last spring and so many more races to go. Sure the gap is large but one more offday day and it becomes a contest.

You mean WHEN he finished?

Technically he scored no points in Malaysia 2016, Spain 2016 etc.

Also to boast about this specific stat at THIS particular time is kind of sad. He has just completely messed up a race he was leading, and was only gifted the points because of a technical infringement that had zero impact on the race. You would be wise to pick another moment to boast.

Whoever decided to have drag race starts from that run off area should get shot tbh
That drag strip has been there for years.
Plus everyone is always asking for runoffs where you really can't just rejoin the race? well, this is how it would look like then :D
Now there's some difference between a graveltrap (which in the wet isn't as bad as in the dry i believe) and something that is essentially as slippery as ice ... it wasn't as bad last year so maybe there were more drag races before the race this year? it wasn't the changing conditions that turned this race into a lottery but that one piece of road that took a lot of drivers by surprise and caused some SCs

Leclerc said it's unacceptable to have such a slippery bit of tarmac on an F1 circuit ... but since it's probably the last race there for a long time it doesn't matter anymore
