Rain forecast for practice on Friday. Otherwise, cloudy for the rest of the weekend.

Surely after 3 amazing races in a row this must be a boring one, especially since I can't watch it live.

It is brave to predict for the weekend. Totally unpredictable for the locals, too. :) Rain, then sunshine and warm, then rain and heavy wind, cold, then sunshine, the rain...

Taking into account how strong Mercedes is in slow corners I think they will smash the compentence. Only extremely high temperatures could make the race more interesting if Mercedes has cooling problems. So, I am afraid that this will be a boring one, and the track doesn´t help either.

Hamilton going for his 7th win here. The guy is super strong at this track and I really expect him to hit back after Germany.

Nah, Red Bull have advanced massively on slow speed corners as well. To some degree Ferrari as well. I expected a fierce battle to resume.

Regarding the tyre choices.

Can anyone explain why Bottas would have just 1 set of hards? So this means in the race when they throw off their softs or mediums from the first stint, it will be Bottas's first time on the hard - period. Like is that not strange? The tyre you will spend the most time on during the race, you don't bother to run once prior.

Talking about leclerc and verstappen and co also.

It didn’t hinder Hamilton in Britain.

They follow the same pattern at most races, the driver with the extra set does the long run testing for both

So Toto seemed to indicate the upgrade had done its job at the German GP but it didn't seem that way. Ya think there's a chance they are gonna revert the upgrades for the Hungary GP? I am thinking not. But during qualifying it didn't seem like the car was that bolted to the ground. I mean last year's lap record still stands.

It's because Hamilton has 2 set's, so he will do the hard tire set-up run. Bottas has 4 mediums to Hamilton's 3, so Bottas he will do the medium tire set-up run.

A lot of the teams do it this way. They send the drivers out on different compounds, so they can gather set-up and tire wear information as quickly as possible.

Personally, I think they set the car up for a wet race, and thus compromised their dry & mixed running pace.
