Cool. And to submit the car?

There should be a link in the email announcing the race, if you did not receive it, you should ask LDVH.

I just sent the email manually.
Tomorrow morning there will be another one for everyone. This is to scare you as the deadline is getting close.
Anyone else who is registered but is not receiving any emails, should get in touch with me, as this means you are not on the list for automatic emails. These automatic emails are to inform you about important details such as the submission link. As soon as I send it out tomorrow, I will post here, so you know that you missed something.

Cool. Cheers. Done. I'll try some testing ahead of the next round  hopefully the rad ducts aren't completely separated.

Ok, my turn for a question on parts submission... ☺️:

Do we need to submit each heat exchanger (left and right) as a separate files, and also two separate heat exchanger mid-plane surfaces?

EDIT: ok, I re-read the rules; it seems pretty clear; separate files. 😂

I just noticed my car's engine intake was 50mm too far back... just in case anyone was using my model here's the amended part:-

CCE Engine Intake V4

And the intake surface for CFD purposes:-

Does anyone have trouble getting the cooling right or is it just me?

I ran machin's car from a few days back and get 2,71m³/s cooling flow. So not quite there yet.

Isnt that always the case :D

I havent managed to sort a car yet, Im hoping to throw something together just to take part in the first round. I have however exported each part of the regulation freecad file into individual .STL files and created a Sketchup file with them all. (yes there is an STL option to download but when importing them into Sketchup I get poor geometry and missing surfaces, doing it this way works much better. If anyone wants it let me know. Will be doing the supplied parts separately too.

I've not completed any runs yet but it's my main concern. What's our issue? Cooling ducts want to align to the flow so have to work with front wing upwash, Y250, bargeboards...etc

As ever Willem Toet has an article on it

This is more or less the car for the first race: it is the first time I submit a car that has not been tested with the official template.
I am not happy about that, it is a kind of bet.

Looks good! Interesting front wing endplates and bargeboards. You've also gone for smaller RWEPs but looks like they're joined to a vane low down?!

Sorry I use abbreviations a lot. RWEP = Rear wing end plate.
