Scuderia Toro Rosso STR14

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Yes, but this year it seems McLaren is The undisputed 4th team on grid, so 9s&10s is ok
No one expext STR beat MCL, but I feel STR need to get proper understanding to their bargeboard. This upgrades also possible due to increase in budget, so I expect they would bring another minor tweak. Usually minor tweak resulting better than big one though.

They had this at Germany did they not?
I thought they didnt race it. Regardless even Williams were early adopters to this concept. The team has a habit of falling behind in season which must be addressed with the new RedBull synergy.
And Williams shot to the front of the midfield as soon as it was introduced 😂😂😂
Are they not closer than at the beginning? Didn't George just miss out Q2 in Hungary by a tenth? They have made massive steps forward. Same can't be said for Toro Rosso.

What races are you watching? Last few races the team have dropped back significantly. They were near top of midfield at the beginning.
What? What are you watching. They've been in the points for 6 our of the last 8 races. If you ignore unforseen issues which caused them to fall back, they are not going as badly as you're suggesting.
You're also taking the time to talk smack because of a boomerang element introduction date which is enough for me to usually skim over your nonsense.

Yes STR have a habit of dropping back second half of the season. Let's just see what happens. Too early to tell.
TR gathered points but only for 9 or 10th place finishes, till Germany they were no where near the top of the midfield contender, and only because Kvyat took 3rd place at Germany they are so high up the ranks
Hence why I didn't mention the podium. However STR being in the points often in comparison to previous years is at least an improvement. It's a little unfair to say they are doing completely rubbish and making zero progress.

Edit: I deleted my post, because I thought this was the STR team topic.

I don't know what you mean by "implecate".

Kvyat has indicated that he will soon announce his plans for next year.
At that time, RBR does not yet know who will be riding next to Max next year.
That would mean that Kvyat is negotiating with another team.
Haas and Alfa Romeo are looking for drivers for next season.
Ferrari was very satisfied with Kvyat and Ferrari determines who will be on Giovinazzi's seat,
most likely a replacement and that could just be Kvyat.
Maybe Hulkenberg and then Kvyat to Haas.
or he just is only negotiating with TR?
maybe Alfa gives Gio another change next year, maybe a F2 driver gets that seat next year
your hint is nothing else but a possible outcome and therefor there is another topic here .....

or do you have a site that is claiming Kvyat is negotiating with other teams

Main plane is shallower as well, note the extra holes below 'Red Bull' on the endplates.
Two stroke: a little more than half the power, twice as often.
