Red Bull RB15

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Any chassis or aero updates coming for Singapore. I guess they will be starting to shift focus towards RB16 more and more around this time
Wdc went to Ham with WCC to merc. No need to work much for this season.
Any updates would also be testing for next year. If they have something it would be short sighted not to test them.

Yes but declaring this may cause rivals to look it closer. I think they will make it secretly even if they test new things for next year.

What makes the red bull front wing great is not the rear 3 or 4 elements. It is the first beam and its height and curvature from the centre to the edge. I would bet that front element and the extra amount of air going under is doing more then the rear 3 or 4 elements. The mercedes has the same setup whereas most of the other teams have a lower first element.

Did you notice this huge RW?! Think this is the first time they use it and it could be a sign that they finally have a confidence with the engine power so they can use more downforce....

Yes, I know, but it seems even bigger than the one they used in Monaco and Hungary...

Not the same angle, but it looks like the same rear wing as used in Hungary.

It is shorter than the previous version (white and red arrows)
Now it is not attached to the Turning Vanes (green arrows) and then we can see part of the Splitter (yellow arrow)
