Also no suprises, the forecast is for supertyphoon Hagibis to make landfall Saturday with high winds predicted through Sunday. Will we get a race?
Yep, the rugby world cup could be a wash out too...double whammy for Japanese sport on the international stage. Fingers crossed all will be fine.

The typhoon looks like it may make landfall in Tokyo as a cat 2. Suzuka is on the north west side of the island. Which means tropical storm conditions at worst. May have to move qualifying to Sunday along with the race. Hasn't been the first time its happened.

Shear winds in the area could cause it to wobble and stay off shore as well.

Ah..again the lady in the back. I saw her in a press conference as a translator for Yamamoto-san a few months ago IIRC.
Do you think there are more people with a similar role to ensure good communications between both teams and Honda?

Doesnt matter. The thyphoon will be around in quali and remants remain till raceday. Unless they move quali to Sunday it will be chaos of a quali

Red Bull
Red Bull hopes the Honda home game in Suzuka will break the knot. Since the summer break, the thread was broken. But the track of Suzuka should be the RB15 chassis. Mobil brings new gasoline. That should bring as much power as the last expansion stage of Honda. So around 15 hp. Also on the car there are minor changes. "A podium finish as in the previous year must definitely be our goal," said Max Verstappen optimistically.
