And that’s P7 and P8... Great showing by Mclaren and awesome drive by both Carlos and Lando... 1.2 seconds from pole is definitely an improvement!

Nice setup for the car and should work well in the race... Time to try and get some good points... With Renault starting in the back of the midfield, this is a great opportunity to build a comfortable lead in the WDC.

I think 4th in the standings is a fourgone conclusion.
Excuse the pun. Couldn’t help it

This season has had so many up and downs for the team, that I wouldn’t be too comfortable just yet... But yes, on track they seemed to be the best of the rest right now!

and we're actually closer to RBR than RBR are to Ferrari. We seem to be making ground on them with just minor upgrades. We were 1 sec behind RBR last year.

You're right so many bad things can happen in the race.

Norris should let Albon pass him. Its his mistake. I dont know if he could get into points after that. Renaults seem to have good race pace.

I watched the onboard and Albon didn’t really leave any room there... A shame for Norris.

And that’s why the team shouldn’t feel too comfortable yet... A lot can happen.

Still on course for 4th, could have been out of sight by now. But every race Renault don’t close the gap means they have to do something extraordinary to overtake McLaren. Shame about Lando
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.
