You have proof the problem is Just the chassis ? Cause I'd like to see it .
Do you have proof the problem is also the engine ? Cause I'd like to see it .
.
I'm not claiming the problem is the PU. Yet you are claiming the problem is the chassis.
It was not me who said that. I only asked you a question.

What happened with the waste gate pipes?

On the spec 3 Red Bull had them pointing outwards to the rear wing endplates, with spec 4 they were straight out the back in Suzuka, has it always been like this after the summer break? I remember reading something around the French GP with with regards to "blowing" the rear wing with the waste gate, and that new rules would come into effect at Silverstone, but Red Bull still had the pipes pointing outwards there.

Were Red Bull's most competitive races with the waste gate pipes pointing outwards and blowing the rear wing?

Need to take a good dose of caution with this Dutch article, Honda to take over Red Bull... Maybe Wouter can give us an opinion on the credibility of the author?

Honda Red Bull takes over and becomes a full-fledged factory team

But look at the S3 times which is just 17 seconds and only has a chichane, rest is flat out. They lost out to the top teams and were doing same times as midfield.
You understand what calculated means?

Yes they would have had a better S3 time but at the cost of a slower overall lap time. Presuming they got their calculations right, Which I do. They've been doing it for some time.

Clearly someone does not appreciate the meaning of calculation. First all engineering calculations are approximations and estimation based on assumptions. Singapore remember the excuse about wrong curve info.
Then there is actual data which validates or invalidates the calcs. Data shows Rdbull car is not as good as top teams in some corners not all.

it's a prediction of Jan Lammers that Honda might take over..... so he just basically sets a rumour in the world which no one can confirm or deny, confirmed more or less in this sentence
"The signals I receive point in that direction in any case," says Jan Lammers in conversation with RacingNews365, without wanting to indicate exactly where those signals come from. "More is happening behind the scenes than we all know at the moment."
so this is a case of "could be true, but could be false aswell"

@Hino, I agree with what @Capharol says.
Jan Lammers is very speculating here, if it is true what the article says,
because RN365 is not a reliable site.

Indeed and mr. Lammers is as far as I know not very closely involved with RB, so I count it as pure speculation. He likes to be known as F1 authority in The Netherlands, but he is (too) biased toward Max imo.

It is not unthinkable for Honda to takeover. It is evident that RBR is lacking in development (speed) compared to Mercedes and Ferrari and the logical sollution is invest more money.

The question is if Redbull is willing to spend more or rather pull out. Honda has the funds and the current situation is a much stronger starting point, than Bar-Honda in 2007, to become world champion.

The source, Jan Lammers may be a Verstappen fan-boy. But don’t underestimate his contacts within the F1 world.

to put these rumours to bed (for now)
Honda already stated they aren't interested in setting up their own F1-team

https://www.planetf1.com/news/honda-hav ... tory-team/
Honda managing director, Masashi Yamamoto, has said the Japanese engine manufacturers currently have no plans to return as a factory team.

With Formula 1 hitting the reset button in 2021, there could have been an opportunity to shake up of teams that structure the World Championship.

While there are claims from a Spanish-based team that they are in “advanced negotiations” to join Formula 1, something which Formula 1 have since denied, Honda are not planning on branching out and away from being just an engine supplier.

“No, not at the moment,” Yamamoto told RaceFans.net when asked if any plans were afoot to revive the factory team.

“We know that continuity in Formula 1 is very important.

“So we have done five years for power unit and somehow now reaching a good area.

“However if we start the chassis now we are going to have another struggle again which we don’t want.”

Instead, Yamamoto revealed what Honda’s main motivation is as we head towards the 2021 season.

“There’s not much advantage for being a supplier in this world,” he added.

“However as you can you know from our name Honda Motor, we have started with engine.

“So we think we are the specialists about engine so we want to be the top in the highest technology of engine world for us. That’s what we are trying.”

Yamamoto has already has something to say about Honda becoming a works team as for Rbr the always struggle with new tech regulations so next year should be okay like the had issues in 2017 but fixed them in 2018 and they still have newey
