There were various strategies possible today, but Lewis Hamilton certainly executed his perfectly. A fighting first stint on medium, followed by an error-free long second stint made for a straight forward victory, ahead of Vettel and Bottas who completed the podium.
Just remember Hungary 2016 ... Rosberg got pole with a purple last sector despite double waved yellows, back then he lifted a tiny bit and the FIA deemed that to be perfectly fine, so you can get pole, you can get purple, all you need to do is lift for a split second...
That is actually true, you have a good memory.
But why wasn,t GIanPieroon the radio, Max wasn’t even in the stadium yet when Bottad crashed. He had all the time to call in to Max that pole was safe. I don’t feel he is that good af a race engineer at all. And Max himself also should have aborted, by his own admission. They need to talk about this.
Now then. Let’s see if the stewards have the bollocks for this one.
Edit: Oh, I see they don’t, yet again. For all this bleating on about safety their inactions are continually contradictory and wrong and they keep setting dangerous precedents. Who is going to bother slowing down in qualifying now?
And Verstappen’s attitude And arrogance stinks, if that was the answer he gave.

you're right Nathan ... i remembered the controversy but forgot the resulting rule changes ... or additions, because that stuff is in the event notes and not in the sporting regulations
Verstappen's attitude makes him the most arrogant and unlikeable driver on the grid. That's my opinion, at least.
No one tells him not to be an aggressive driver, but seeing such a big collision on the side and yellow flags, but still not slowing down AND talking crap after the session, is not really gentleman-like.
Potential punishment aside, how do the stewards get this so wrong? We're constantly reassured that they look at the data and, if the data we see is different, we're told that they look at super, top-secret data that we're not allowed to see but that totally justifies their decisions.
So, how do they react to this incident? "Oh, it's fine Verstappen slowed for it." Verstappen himself denies this and, apparently, that's enough for the Stewards to reopen the enquiry. Don't they already know if he lifted? Didn't they check the telemetry before saying he didn't commit an offence? Someone please present an alternate explanation because this is f-ing ridiculous.
It's not even as if they're summoning him for taking the piss in the press conference. "failure to slow for yellow flags in turn 17 at 14:00"
Also, this clearly sets the precedent that you absolutely should lie when asked about offences. If Verstappen hadn't been honest, he wouldn't be appearing in front of them.

Agree 100%.
Can’t think of another driver who wouldn’t have slowed there. Both Hamilton and Vettel did. Verstappen’s actions and attitude really stink at times.

Raikonnen did exactly the same when Max had broken down with engine problems in Spa a few years back. Even gave the same comments afterwards.
