Hamilton was always going to clinch the WDC and he did it really well. However the bigger news was Ferrari being nowhere on a track with some nice long straights. Did something happen to slow them down this weekend
Actually technical directive came after friday. And by the looks of long runs on friday we could already see awful race pace from Ferrari

Unbelievable job by Hamilton. Congrats to the 6x champion!

He almost clinched it in impeccable style, but P5 to P2 is pretty good.

Bottas driving as he has been in the 2nd half of this year bodes very well for Mercedes next year.
Bodes very well now he's found the race pace and tyre management, looks like the constructors title is in safe hands.

Hamilton having to tell the dignitary who to give the constructor's trophy to...

Ferrari have normally had worst race pace.

Congrats Lewis fans (and all) with His 6th title. Well deserved. 2 more to go to really be the goat, that I think he is (all be it comparing is always hard/unfair).

Nice race with good pace by most, but not so much by Ferrari.

Binotto was looking quite relaxed before a possible protest and after the actual directives. Don't think that's what made them be pathetic in the race today.

Vettel wasn't in the mix because of the suspension and Leclerc had an old engine with ultra high mileage, probably turned down even more than usual.

We will not be entirely sure about what's going on before next season. In my opinion Ferrari might even turn the power down on purpose to trick others and then come up with the usual power advantage next season. That would make the opponents scratch their heads again. The season is done and I think that Ferrari would make it easier for the opponents, if they weren't turning down the power now. Because the others would then be sure that it's not this fuel flow thing and keep on going for other areas.

There should be nothing like GOAT. It's disrespect to the past greats and to what they achieved in their given circumstances. Stats are there to be overtaken and can't be the barometer of excellence over past achievers.

Oh yeah, he is so poor as a technical leader that he is now part of 3 double world titles.

That’s what I said. Comparing is hard and unfair at that.
