Singular fuel supplier--something F1 should try.
Disagree, keep all the different fuel suppliers in F1, require 100% biofuel from nonfood sources. I want ocean algae that eats ocean plastic and makes biofuel for my cars simultaneously.

So are the aero limits still a thing?

Waiting for actual publication of the regs. But I'd think that is set on stone. Common sense ruling for me. With bop if everyone maxes the aero limits then at least that's actually equal and not a part of some performance matrix.

Impressive achievement, and a long tail Chiron looks pretty good.
Ready for Le Mans hypercar class from 2021?? :D [-o<
That would be interesting to see, but the large engine may be at a disadvantage. The power output is supposed to be limited to 750 hp, approximatrly half of the Chiron engine output.

But the Chiron makes 750bhp at about mid revs - whilst everything else is still getting in to their stride. The Chiron would be getting 750bhp at 4000rpm and then staying there. They'd have to map it to reduce the torque from that rev mark in order to keep the power steady at the maximum allowed. Assuming it's not traction limited - and being 4wd it isn't - it'll be f'ing quick out of the corners! It's an interesting thought, the Chiron racing. =D>

AWD is only allowed once the vehicle passes 120kph though

120kmh isn't that fast really, I'd expect many corners will be 4wd-able in the dry, at least.

No doubt, but the Chirron is full-time AWD, so they would need a completely new drivetrain on top of tuning the engine to run like a diesel if they ever wanted to take a stab with it.

Building a racer out of a (hyper) road car always takes an almost full redesign. This in not just slapping on a few numbers and weld in a roll cage.

Glickenhaus have unveiled this, the SCG 007, as their entry. No technical details yet

Except the F1, of course, which had a some aero bits changed (the fan powered diffuser and the active rear spolier removed, a front splitter added) and a roll cage added but nothing else really. Won Le Mans on its debut.

But the F1 was special and thus your point basically stands as correct.

But with the nicest bits of both left out. It's not a looker, that thing.
