Looks like RB needs to open a vacancy for a spin doctor again.

I'm suspecting that it is a car issue, perhaps gearbox. There were just too many of those spins. I know some were going too wide, but there were a few where car spun mid corner for no apparent reason.

Speedtrap Alfa 334, Ferrari 310 and commentators seem to thing Ferrari turned things up?

I'd say any speedtrap above 325 is because of tow. That's Ferrari's topspeed in quali last year. I don't think any car this year will top this, especially not in testing.

Who is sandbaging, how much? We know the Merc can be at least 1s faster that what they are doing.

Verstappen caught a wet kerb; This spin by Albon might well be the Wind picking up, and other cars had wobbles and spins. Not sure there is any big issue here, apart from them losing testing time.

Verstappen didn't have one spin, he had at least 3 or 4. One of those was mid corner without obvious cause.

Albon today had a similar spin.

It may be just the wind, but most teams are not spinning like that. I guess they may be just driving a bit more on the edge or their car is sensitive to wind or gearbox/engine is causing the lockups. Did Alpha Tauri have any strange spins?

Because they are not in full attack, times are too slow

Maybe RIC times means something, Renault is not a fast car, so maybe the 1.16.2 is a real qualy lap for them
