Avgs. of Leclerc race sim all on C2
22.91
21.91
20.51
Do you have for merc/redbull (from previous days)?
Hamilton Thursday week 1
22.21 - C2
21.28 - C2
20.31 - C2

Verstappen Friday week 1
22.82 - C2
22.25 - C2
21.21 - C2
The most interesting, and possibly valuable, post of preseason testing 2020.

Cheers!

On this evidence, it’s not a Ferrari-distant-third situation...

Verstapen 1.16.805 on the C2s...now that's a good lap!
How long his stint? HAM did the same on the first day on a 10-ish lap stint though.

We need some more race stints for full comparision. But its looking like Mercrdes is half a second ahead at this track.

The time drop between stints is similar for Ferrari and Mercedes, but it almost looks like RB put fuel in the car after the first stint.

Hi all, new here :)

Don't we have to take into account the different conditions of the track and the weather both times from hamilton and verstappen were set in?

From what I've seen, the track condition looks a lot worse then last week right now, which makes the laptime from Verstappen quite impressive right? Or am I wrong big time?

True, Merc seems well clear. Bottas lap also looked absolutely hooked up
True GOATs don’t need the help of superior material to win.

Tom Brady, Usain Bolt are true GOATs.

Yet only less than half a tenth up on RIC (maybe 3 tenths up adjusting for PU modes). Don't think Merc is going to run away with it.

Fuel load probably way higher

How do you adjust the PU mode? A statement from Mercedes to Auto Motor Und Sport says, due to their ongoing PU issues, they are running lower modes today!

By the way, in the first test, Bottas already did 1.15.732.

RIC S1 was 0.3s faster than BOT.

Interesting, Verstappen was on track for P1 using the C4s but ran the exit curb on the last corner and bottled the lap. He used 8 on the straight too.

Hiding their true lap time perhaps everyone else has fast time but those times are on the C5 So if youre cutting the C5 time on a C4 tire you might want to keep that to yourselves....

I think RedBull will show up faster then weve seen but Mercedes could also be holding back.... Its so frustrating to watch testing because you cant really predict anything based on what you see.

What is the difference between C4 and C5 ?

Can we assume that RIC C5 - OCO C4 was representative of the gap ? So 2 tenths?
