If Hamilton takes pole, he'll set a new record for numbrr of poles at the same grands prix. He's currently on 8 at Australia (Senna had 8 at San Marino, Michael had 8 at Japan). He'll also equal Senna for consecutive poles at the same GP (Senna had 7 on the bounce at San Marino, Hamilton currently has 6 on tge bounce at Australia).

It's a big "if", however. Records are hard to beat - that's why they're records.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Very true but he has been doing it a lot recently.

Great little piece of statistical trivia. Thank you for sharing that.

What logic says:

Pole:
1. Hamilton
2. Bottas
3. Verstappen
4. Vetttel
5. Leclerc

Race:

1. Hamilton
2. Verstappen
3. Bottas
4. Vettel
5. Leclerc

What I would like to see(race):

1. Vettel
2. Verstappen
3. Hamilton
4. Leclerc
5. Sainz

I hope Hamilton gets pole if only for the record books. I don't think he'll win the race, however, as he has a pretty bad race record at this circuit for some reason. 8 poles from 13 races but only won it twice.

When AMuS added up every team's fastest sectors in Test2, guess who was fastest? That's right, Il Scuderia! Also Max backed off at the end of his fastest lap we mustn't forget. So I cannot wait!!

I just hope for no safety cars or VSC's and let the best team and driver win. If that's Lewis, even better

And if the teams protest every Ferrari pole and win during the season? That'll be a "fun" thing, won't it?

its fully within the rights of teams to protest, they could have done it in 2019 if they wanted to. so what's fun about that?
