Petronas could probably left Mercedes sponsorship after F1 2021 season and move straight to Scuderia AlphaTauri F1 Team for 2022 season if in case Mercedes F1 constructor works team quit and Mercedes could reassume McLaren works partnership. Petronas with AlphaTauri team in 2022 could be Petronas fuel works team. In the past Ferrari ever partnered both Shell (works team) and Petronas (Sauber only) in 1997-2005 later Mercedes partnered both Petronas (works team) and ExxonMobil (McLaren only) in 2010-2014. Honda could probably partnering both ExxonMobil (Red Bull Racing) and Petronas (AlphaTauri only) in 2022 and beyond like Ferrari and Mercedes in the past with customer teams. Not for the first time engine manufacturer partnered two oil companies in F1, in the past Renault ever partnered both BP Castrol (Renault works) and ExxonMobil (Red Bull Racing) in 2017-2018.

If Petronas do a move to AlphaTauri sponsorship for 2022 season, it could be the first time Honda F1 engines utilize Petronas products despite for AlphaTauri F1 only due to Red Bull Racing already have ExxonMobil products

Would you like to see Petronas sponsorship moving to Scuderia AlphaTauri team for F1 2022 season?

Is it safe to assume that, just like most of your other topics, this is based on thin air?

Why not Sunoco instead? Or are they going to be with McLaren?
