I do not think RP was ever an option. Or who of them should be replaced? The son of the team boss or the only good paydriver in the field???langedweil wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 5:30 pmApparently RP made clear it's Stroll & Perez until 2022, which makes Renault the only option for Vettel ..
Yes, rather LeMans than going for Renault F1. Something like this is also my bet...but I would rather see him with Ferrari, maybe even if they go for Indy?FrukostScones wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 8:36 amI think Vettel could do LeMans 24hours with Red Bull in the future.
I’m not saying Vettel will replace Perez. But in answer to your question - Stroll Sr. could want to have a top driver in his car along the journey to make AM a top team. He certainly has the money to buy Checo’s contract outbasti313 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 10:15 amI do not think RP was ever an option. Or who of them should be replaced? Tbh I don’t think Vettel is on such chummy terms with his current employer anymorebasti313 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 10:33 amYes, rather LeMans than going for Renault F1. Perez would actually step down to Renault then. lol. The Pink Mercedes is not just a pretty face. Last I heard it's nipping at the heels of the top three.
Most people pegged it at clear best of the rest after preseason testing IIRC. But would RP/AM have the developmental capacity to keep that up until 2021 starts?PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 11:31 pmPerez would actually step down to Renault then. lol. I suspect this is more a way to put a little pressure on the ongoing negotiations with Hamilton then an actual plan.siskue2005 wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 6:04 pmDaimler reportedly ‘pushing hard’ for Vettel

Wow, read the comments on that site. Talk about fan-boy arguments! It makes one realise how good we are in comparison, even if we do give the mods work to do now and then with various arguments.siskue2005 wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 6:04 pmDaimler reportedly ‘pushing hard’ for Vettel
