Ted Kravitz has just made a very interesting point.

Because of the new regs which includes distancing and 1 way systems around garages then quick changes between sessions may just not be possible anymore. So an engine failure or a crash in FP3 could be terminal for Qualy.

Any reason why Seb is still running the black T-Cam?

De Resta has just been talking up Vettel going to either Mercedes or RedBull.

Talk about being clueless. Why the hell would Mercedes ever risk Hamilton Vs Vettel, Why the hell would RedBull ever risk Verstappen Vs Vettel?

That smoke was NOT out of the exhaust of the RP, seems like it was out of the crankcase breather tube

VET has Birthday today. DIR just wants to be nice.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Sounds amazing
True GOATs don’t need the help of superior material to win.

Tom Brady, Usain Bolt are true GOATs.

In the early exchanges of pace it looks like Renault, Ferrari, McLaren and Racing Point might be very close together.

Very early to read into anything i know but this is an interesting indication into the bare naked pace of the cars before they refine and then turn the engine up in quali, which we know the top teams will do.

Mercedes look a level above those teams and we await a lap in anger from the Red Bull boys.

Anyone holding out that Ferrari may have been bluffing a little?

I thought their car looked decent to the naked eye in testing and certainly cornered well. Whilst the lap times were not eye catching they did improve markedly towards the end of the test.

If there is too much drag we will see that fairly clearly this weekend in Austria I would imagine?
I find strange that some people that for granted that Ferrari Will be clearly behind Mercedes and RB. The car looked good so we should wait until FP2 to see their true pace.

Are Red Bull staying in the garages and only running hard tyres to hide their true pace? Will they come out of the box on Saturday and do a "woah, where did that come from?"
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

That’s what I’m thinking too- looks like they are just testing the water a little and easing in gradually.

Their hard tyre pace is pretty good- couple of tenths of Lewis and the Mercedes.
